Veteran Post-Rock band Deadhorse will be playing their first shows for the first time in over 5 years. The band will be hitting the road for their return, but will be doing so a long way from home - they have been invited to do a 2-week tour through China starting October 19th and ending October 30th.
They are eager to get back on stage, and will be doing a set of varied material from earlier albums We Can Create Our Own World and Decay as well as debuting full-band versions of songs from their brand new record Crescendo which will be released October 6th. We are pleased to welcome Deadhorse to Sunday Drive Records. Deadhorse is a post-rock band from Erie, Pennsylvania that formed in 2009. After releasing their highly acclaimed LP, We Can Create our Own World in 2010, the band played countless shows around the world for the next few years, as well as releasing a couple of singles and EPs. After a well deserved break, the band is back with their next album, Crescendo. The album is set to release October 6, 2017 and will be a very unique album to the post-rock world and to the band as well. The album separates itself from the beloved powerful and loud sound that Deadhorse established, and goes completely minimal with beautiful piano arrangements from Brian Morgante. The album is a beautiful work of art with a powerful message, and we are lucky to have the chance to work with the band on this new venture.

We are pleased to welcome Lesser Men to Sunday Drive Records. Lesser Men is a post-hardcore band formed in 2013 from Holyoak, Massachusetts. The band has made much progress throughout the years touring the US and releasing 2 EPs, Drifter (2014)and Loathe (2015). We actually had the chance to see them in Texas when SDR was just starting and were blow away, knowing we had to work with them in the future.
Here we are in 2017, with the bands first LP, Biding Time to be released on Sunday Drive this summer. The LP is definitely the band at their most mature and pure sound, combining elements of melodic and post-hardcore. We are very excited for the bands' future on SDR, and you'll be hearing much from them later this year on tours.
