Still

Still is a shoegaze band from St. Louis, Missouri that was formed in 2020 by Michael Hoeltge, Ben Koeing, David Shanle (New Lives, Time and Pressure), and Chris Wright. Influenced by popular Creation Records bands like Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, and Ride, they get everything right about classic shoegaze—heavy guitars, soothing vocals, and lots of noise, while still managing to get songs stuck in your head. While shoegaze can sometimes be seen as a cliche in 2021, the band hits all the right notes here. Their new single, Heavy is out now with their debut EP, “Faint” to arrive later this year.
